Cultivating Gratitude: A Gratitude Journal and More

Cultivating Gratitude: A Gratitude Journal and More

Posted on 14 March 2012 by Creative E-courses

This course will introduce you to the practice of cultivating gratitude. You will learn the benefits of “thinking thankfully” as we create a gratitude journal from scratch and set up a variety of unique pages perfectly suited for daily recordings of your blessings.   As we cultivate a habit of recording our gratitude in our new journals, we will soon see that it’s hard to keep our new “attitudes of gratitude” all to ourselves. With this in mind, the course will also include quick projects that are perfect for sharing and letting others know how thankful we are for them.

Photo Organizing with Photoshop Elements

Photo Organizing with Photoshop Elements

Posted on 31 January 2012 by Creative E-courses

Because digital photos are “free” we take a lot of them! The big problem is that all of those “free” photos have filled up our computers and external hard drives and we can’t find the photos we need.

Even if you think you’re organized, you will be amazed at what you will learn in this class.

We will use the Photoshop Elements Organizer to set up a custom organizational system for your photos. You will organize your photos in this class; you will not be using my sample photos.

This class will show you how to organize your photos so that you can find them by:

•Event

•People in the Photo

•Date

•Your Favorites

You will also learn ways to protect your photos from a hard drive failure or other disaster.

Imagine finding the exact photo you need in seconds! My students tell me that this class has changed their life!

Note to Mac Users: The Organizer was not added to Photoshop Elements until version 9 (released September, 2010). Please do not sign up for this class if you have an older version of Photoshop Elements for the Mac. You may download a free trial version of Photoshop Elements at www.Adobe.com. (See link below)

Class Supply List:

•Computer

•Windows – Photoshop Elements* version 7 (released September 2008) or newer, installed prior to the start of class •Mac – Photoshop Elements* version 9 (released September 2010) or newer, installed prior to the start of class.

•Your own photos

•Wired Mouse – In my experience I have found that my beginning students do much better with a wired mouse than a laptop touch pad or wireless mouse.

This class includes screencasts, downloadable PDF tutorials, forums, and student gallery. If you have any questions regarding your ability to view course materials, please see our FAQ’s.
