In Cathy Zielske’s newest workshop, you will create an 8″ x 8″ album built around two perspectives – yours and someone else’s. It could be a daughter or son, a sister, a best friend, a partner or a husband. Choose from 15 thoughtful prompts, ranging from “Who I am today” to “What I most admire in you” to “What are my dreams for the future” and begin to build a personal, meaningful album that celebrates the unique perspectives of two people.
Much More than a Simple Scrapbook of Photos…
This album project lets you explore topics that matter and share the experience with someone special in your life. It’s really a chance to dig down, get personal, and make connections and discoveries about yourself and someone else.
Featuring Cathy’s signature clean and simple design style, the album prompts are custom designed graphics that set the tone for the look and feel of this project. You choose the topics that you want to cover, the journaling fonts, the papers and of course, the photos to complete the album.
With simple, step-by-step instructions designed to let you use Word or Photoshop to complete the album, you will focus on capturing authentic answers to these thought-provoking prompts, and then create a 21-page (or more) finished album – one that combines the best of software and traditional scrapbooking products.

This idea is at the heart of everything Becky Higgins does with her blog, her products and in her real life. Come and join her for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend some time with her during the last quarter of 2012. As Becky goes about preparing for the holidays, organizing around her home and documenting her family’s story along the way, she’ll be sharing ideas to inspire you, tips to motivate you, and real-life suggestions on how to cultivate the life you want.
Whether you’re a long-time Project Lifer or you’re just now hearing about Project Life, you will love learning about the guilt-free philosophy behind this system of memory-keeping. While Becky will give you plenty to think about and do during the 12 weeks of this workshop, she has no intentions of overwhelming you. This is based on her belief that that there isn’t a person that exists who really “does it all” — and this should be the last thing that we expect from ourselves.

It’s time to get out that Big Shot, Big Kick, Vagabond or whatever Sizzix machine you have and explore the world of die-cutting. I’m a member of the Sizzix design team and I’d love to share with you all I know about die-cutting and the amazing things you can do with your machine. Learn the basics of operation and troubleshooting to get the most out of your machine. We’ll cover many techniques to make your die-cuts go from “plain Jane” to being more beautiful than you ever imagined. This class will be demonstrated using the Sizzix Big Shot machine but all die-cut fans using any machine will learn many new things and tips right from the Sizzix Art Room.
While the course will be arranged using the product lines by week, every week I’ll teach new techniques for coloring, embellishing, effects and ways you never thought to use your dies. I’ll also be teaching some cross-over ideas on how to use your different products together and incorporate lots of household items and some of your favorite crafty items from your personal stash.
