If you’ve ever wanted to make your own book with a needle, thread and some paper, this is the class for you! This class covers two easy-to-sew stitches, the “4 needle stitch” and the “chain stitch”. We won’t just learn the basics of sewing these bindings together but we’ll learn to create a covering as well as an easy way to complete a star book! It’s time to get out that Big Shot, Big Kick, Vagabond or whatever Sizzix machine you have and explore the world of die-cutting. I’m a member of the Sizzix design team and I’d love to share with you all I know about die-cutting and the amazing things you can do with your machine. Learn the basics of operation and troubleshooting to get the most out of your machine. We’ll cover many techniques to make your die-cuts go from “plain Jane” to being more beautiful than you ever imagined. This class will be demonstrated using the Sizzix Big Shot machine but all die-cut fans using any machine will learn many new things and tips right from the Sizzix Art Room.
